News

Do you want the good news or the bad news first?
The challenge is do you only have to believe something to be a Christian? Or do you have to do something? Or do you have to say something? Following Jesus, the Christ, takes more than just checking a box.
Bonus Questions
Is confessing “Jesus is Lord,” and believing in your heart God raised him from the dead all you need to do to be a Christian? (Romans 10:9)
What did people have to believe about God before Jesus was revealed? (Romans 4:3)
Main Thought
The “good news,” or gospel, is all about Jesus, the Christ. But the good news is really only good news if you know the bad news. This page uses the language of “sin” and “forgiveness” to try and tell this news. We avoided churchy words like: atonement, propitiation, separation, saved, salvation, repentance, spiritual death/life, and born again to share this news. But news is shared and spread differently. How would you share this news with others?
